Accessibility statement
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard operation of menus, the mobile menu, interactive diagrams, tabs, accordions and the enquiry form.
- Visible focus indicators and a colour palette checked against WCAG contrast ratios.
- Motion that explains relationships rather than decorating, which follows your system’s reduced-motion setting. Continuous animation can be paused.
- Every interactive diagram has an equivalent list of ordinary links and text.
- Illustrations that use invented figures are labelled as synthetic in text that screen readers announce.
How we test
Before release, pages are checked with automated accessibility scans (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 A/AA rules), keyboard-only walkthroughs, reduced-motion checks and mobile-viewport reviews. Automated tools cannot find every issue, so we also welcome reports.
Known limitations
Assistive-technology testing with screen readers on real devices has not yet been completed for this version. Results will be recorded here when it has.
